Caulerpa lentillifera, commonly known as sea grape or green caviar, is a type of edible seaweed. It is one of the favored species of edible Caulerpa due to its soft and succulent texture. It resembles bunches of little shiny grapes, as can be guessed through its common name. The color of this seaweed ranges from bright green to bluish and sometimes olive green. It is naturally distributed in tropical regions and cultivated on a large scale in the Philippines and Okinawa, Japan. C. lentillifera is high in minerals, vitamin A, vitamin C, and several essential unsaturated fatty acids. It is reported to have anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties and to be used to treat high blood pressure and rheumatism. In scientific studies, it is also said to have anti-oxidant activity.

Clinical tests have shown increase in skin hydration by 36% after just 2 hours from application.
